Founded 2004 in Vienna by Graphic Designer Willem Krauss, studio krauss is an independent creative business made by Passion, Strategy and Design. Currently working in Graz, Austria.
We approach every project with a purpose-built team of creative specialists, comprised of category experts and culturally-aligned natives. We form partnerships with our clients all around the world through three areas of focus – Future, Strategy and Design – working together to harness change, express meaning and make impact.

Willem Krauss | Founder and Partner
Willem is a designer and tourism expert specializing in branding, content creation, and strategic brand development in the hospitality sector. In 2004, he founded studio k in Vienna, which is now based in Styria, Austria. Previously, he worked as Art Director at design hotels™ and played a key role in creating content for member hotels and for the design hotels™ brand. Through his studio, he collaborates with international clients, hotel groups and independent boutique hotels, creating tailored and clever brand solutions.
Marion Krauss | Partner
Marion is a seasoned Art Director with a strong background in branding and visual communication. She studied Graphic Design at the London Metropolitan University, where she developed her foundation in conceptual communication design.
After moving to Vienna, she has been working as an Art Director, leading and shaping visual identities for a wide range of clients. Her work spans branding projects for boutique companies as well as global players, combining strategic thinking with a refined visual sensibility.
Equally comfortable in both analog and digital environments, Marion brings a holistic approach to design—bridging traditional graphic design, editorial thinking, and contemporary digital communication.
